Stanford Health Care has broken new ground by integrating Kivo Health to deliver virtual-first pulmonary rehabilitation for COPD patients. Unlike traditional telehealth referrals, this collaboration features seamless EMR integration that automatically identifies eligible patients and allows Stanford clinicians to maintain visibility into patient progress throughout the virtual program. The collaboration addresses critical access barriers, including limited in-person capacity and transportation challenges, while delivering comprehensive care through one-on-one sessions with breathing specialists, nine weeks of virtual group programs, and complete patient care kits.
